 The
Dive Center Casa Daniel is located directly at the
waterfront in the center of Bayahibe. Each day our
speedboats take divers out to the most beautiful dive
sites of the Dominican Republic in the national park.
For the past 16 years, we have been managed by Swiss
and German dive professionals adhering to the international
standards of PADI. We offer quality service based
on the high level of service, professionalism and
friendliness of our international dive team.
Our
Location
Bayahibe
is located at the border of the national park, 20
km southeast of La Romana. This little fishing town
with approximately 1500 residents is still one of
the typical, colorful, Carribbean villages with palm
tree lined white sandy beaches.
The
nearby beach resorts like VIVA Beach and Palace, Iberostar
Hacienda Dominicus, Coral Canoa Hilton und Casa del
Mar are all-inklusive, but in Bayahibe itself you
will find small, nice hotels and rooms for rent. From
the luxury golf resort Casa de Campo, Bayahibe is
20 km away (approx. 30 min by car).

Dive Trips
Some
of the best dive sites of the Dominican Republic are
located here in the southeast. Beginners and experienced
divers alike can explore our  colorful
reef life. Rich coral reefs mixed with big sponges,
gorgonians and tropical reef fishes, or the wreck
of St.George, which is an old steel cargo freighter,
which was sunk in 1998 especially for the divers.
The depth varies from 12 to 25 meters. Every diver
will enjoy the beautiful dive locations in front of
our door.
Full
Day Excursions
Saona
Saona has the most beautiful white sandy beaches,
surrounded by pristine turquoise water, with excellent
visibilities. On our way to saona we pass through
the mangroves, make a short stop at the Piscina Natural
- a natural swimming pool where you find beautiful
see stars.
The
underwater world is nearly untouched - walls, canyons
and caverns. Because of the strong currents, we take
only experienced divers to these dive sites.
Catalinita
- Shark Point
At Catalinita Island the Atlantic ocean meets the
Caribbean Sea. The currents that are here cause the
unusual variety of corals and the big shoals of fish.
Here you can still find untouched reefs, that only
we know and go to, so it guarantees you to see sharks,
rays and big fishes almost every time.
 This
virgin nature as well as the canyons and overhangs
of the reefs are the right area for divers and big
fish.
Catalina
The island Catalina is uninhabited and is one of
the top spots for snorklers and divers. The first
dive will be in turquoise water on a deep descending
wall with typical Caribbean underwater landscape
in one of the most interesting diving areas of the
Caribbean. This is also the best spot we can offer
for snorklers because they will be able to see fish
and corals of the most beautiful colors directly
on the roof of the reef. After the dive we are going
to the other side of the island and relax in the
shade of the palm trees with cold drinks on one
of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean.

Casa
Daniel trains according to the guidelines of PADI.
We
offer courses for all dive levels, from Discover
Scuba Diving (for people who want to make their
first dive experience), Open Water Diver (for beginners),
Advanced Open Water Diver (for those who want to
improve their skills), Rescue Diver up to Dive Master.
Theory
lessons are supported by videos in the class and
self-study with work books. Pool lessons are conducted
in confined water next to our dive base. For the
open water training dives we take the students to
the closer coral reefs of  Bayahibe.
Accommodation
Casa
Daniel Guesthouse has 3 simple rooms in a quiet,
familiar atmosphere.
Next
to our house is a little beach where you can swim
and snorkel. In 5 min walking distance you will
find good Dominican and Mediterranean restaurants.
